Welcome to South Schuylkill Unified’s new website and our new monthly blog: Building South Schuylkill!
South Schuylkill Unified is excited to launch the first version of our new website as part of our ongoing work to strengthen communication, share regional priorities, and invite residents, businesses, municipalities, and community partners to get involved.
This is a soft launch, which means the website will continue to grow over the coming weeks and months. Our goal is to make sure the public has access to the most important information now while we continue adding updates, resources, photos, stories, and community information.
One thing we have heard often is that people want an easier way to know what is happening across South Schuylkill. Meeting dates, events, project updates, volunteer opportunities, and resources are often shared in different places. This website is one step toward making information easier to find, easier to share, and easier to act on.
Through this site, visitors can learn more about South Schuylkill Unified, our regional purpose, our Main Street designation efforts, current priorities, volunteer opportunities, ways to donate, and how to contact us.
Right now, SSU is focused on several important priorities, including the Main Street designation effort, business support and recruitment, community communication, facade improvement planning, wayfinding and community connections, and volunteer and committee engagement.
In the coming weeks, we plan to continue adding more information, including business resources, community updates, South Schuylkill Stories, event information, project updates, and additional ways for residents and partners to get involved.
We invite you to explore the site, share it with others, and contact us with ideas, corrections, photos, events, or opportunities that may help strengthen South Schuylkill. This work belongs to all of us, and we are grateful for everyone who is helping move the region forward.
Together, we are building a stronger South Schuylkill.
